About Me

Hi! My name is Lily. I love bringing new worlds and characters to life for my readers of all ages. I write fantastical short stories and middle grade novels.

I am working on two books right now, both of which feature themes of nature and looking to the outside world to reflect on and seek strength for our own internal struggles.

I graduated from Yale University with a degree in English and a concentration in creative writing. I earned my law degree from the University of California at Berkeley and enjoyed many fun years as a litigator before deciding to pursue my lifelong passion for writing.

Growing up in North Carolina, I developed a love of nature and being outdoors that has stuck with me through the many states I have lived in, which include California, D.C., Maine, and now Massachusetts. When I’m not writing or reading, you can find me hiking, skiing, playing and coaching soccer, or riding my long-tail cargo bike with my two kids in tow. I also serve on my town’s Library Board of Trustees.
